charity donation KEEPR's

A total of more than £1000 has been raised for Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust thanks to all the purchases our KEEPR’s customers made during our World Bee Day celebrations in May and June.

10 per cent of all KEEPR’s sales made from May 20 to June 20 have been donated to the conservation charity which works to protect the wildlife and wild spaces of Leicestershire and Rutland, including the preservation of British bees.

The Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust was chosen by KEEPR’s due to its proximity to our distillery and the efforts it makes towards raising awareness of the importance of our natural environment for own health and the health of our planet.

KEEPR’s Commercial Director Stuart Fritz, said: “We’re proud of our local community and so very privileged to have access to such beautiful natural habitats and a wealth of wildlife right here on our doorstep.

“As a company, we believe brands can be a force for good and we hope this small token of our appreciation helps the Wildlife Trust continue the great work they do.

“We’d also like to say a huge thank you to our customers whose purchases helped raise this money.”

Harriet Girling, Senior Engagement Officer at Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust, added: “We are very grateful to everyone at Union Distillers for this incredibly kind donation, the money will make a huge difference to us and our work to protect wildlife and wild places across Leicestershire and Rutland.

“This fantastic campaign has not only raised a considerable amount of money for us, it has also helped raise awareness of our work and the importance of protecting precious species like bees, which face decline. Working with local businesses is so important to us, as it allows us to achieve more for wildlife and bring more people closer to nature.”
