It was all about the Gold for our spirits at the China Wine & Spirits Competition (CWSA) where Keepr’s Smoked Honey Bourbon and Dodd’s Small Batch Gin received awards in recognition of their quality and excellence.

Both spirits underwent the ‘CWSA Triple Blind Tasting Method’ that this prestigious competition has perfected over 20 seasons and is highly regarded for. This involves judges not being informed of the country or region of the spirit, having zero indication of the bottle label and not discussing their findings with other judges.

British Honey Company Commercial Director Oliver Williams said: “This a very tough contest and winning these awards means our hard work and technical knowledge is recognised at the highest level.

“Dodd’s only became part of the British Honey Company family of spirits in January this year, so to receive this accolade along with silver awards at both the London Spirits Competition and the International Wine and Spirits Competition, is evidence of its exceptional and continued quality.

“We are also extremely proud to see our newly-released Bourbon in the spotlight once again which is produced in collaboration with our partners at List Distillery on Florida. It has had a hugely successful year winning Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Bronze at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.”
