The quality, value and look of five British Honey Company spirits have been recognised in the
London Spirits Competition 2020 with medals awarded to four spirits from the Keepr’s collection and one to Dodd’s Gin.
The London Spirits Competition ‘shines a spotlight on spirits brands that consumers really want to buy’, judging not just on tasting the spirits blind but also on their design and packaging – ‘shelf appeal’ – and whether the look, feel, taste and quality match up to the price point.
Keepr’s
British Sloe & Honey Gin,
Honey Spiced Rum and Dodd’s Gin all received Silver Medals while Bronze Awards were given to Keepr’s
British Raspberry & Honey Gin and Keepr’s
Classic London Dry Gin with British Honey.
British Honey Company, Commercial Director, Oliver Williams, said: “We are delighted with our success at the London Spirits Competition. Our aim is to produce spirits that are flavoursome and enjoyable and easy to drink. These awards are recognition of that.”
It is the third year running that the British Honey Company has won awards at the London Spirits Competition and the second time this year that Keepr’s spirits have received international accolades. In March, at the
San Francisco World Spirits Competition, our newly released Smoked Honey Bourbon, Classic London Dry Gin with British Honey and Honey Spiced Rum were presented with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. It is also the second time our British Sloe & Honey Gin has been recognised this year, receiving a Silver Award at the 2020 International Spirits Challenge.
