Hot off its silver medal winning success at The Spirits Business awards, Dodd’s Explorer’s Citrus & Spice Organic Gin has now taken one of the top spots at the London Spirits Competition (LSC).
This juniper led gin, distilled with rare peppercorns from the Far East, racked up 90 points from the LSC judges earning it a gold medal for its quality, value and packaging.
“In 2021, Dodd’s Citrus & Spice achieved a silver medal at the LSC, so we are delighted that it has been able to surpass that this year,” said Stuart Fritz, Commercial Director at the British Honey Company.
There were also celebrations for several of our other spirits brands at this internationally recognised competition. For the second year running 1606 Vodka, and 1606 Gin took home silver, along with Two Birds Watermelon Gin which already has two awards under its belt this season, notably a gold from The Spirits Business.
KEEPR’s Cognac Cask Aged Sloe Gin – a limited release exclusive to Virgin Wines – was presented with a bronze medal as was Two Birds Spiced Rum and English Heritage Organic Dry Gin.
“We are consistently seeing our spirits ranked highly at international competitions, highlighted by our recent success at the IWSC, Spirits Business Blind Tasting, Bartender Brand Awards and now at the LSC,” Stuart added. “We are always challenging ourselves to be better for our customers and these awards are recognition of that.”
This is the fifth year that the British Honey Company’s spirits have won awards at the LSC.
