Honey is a natural sugar and healthy option over sugar and sweetness. We believe every jar should be as fresh tasting as possible, which is why we let the bees do all the work themselves.
Our collection of honey includes, Cotswold, Oxford, Blueberry Blossom, Apple Blossom, Cut Comb, Borage, Heather…

We at The British Honey Company are leading the way of scientific research into the provenance and traceability of Honey. We have been working with Oxford and Reading Universities and have initiated a programme looking at the DNA makeup and the Isotope readings of various honeys. We have written our own software programme to track the provenance of honey from ‘hive to table’ we are also able to test for any impurities and guarantee the safety of our honey in the food and drinks chain.
Alex Maurice, Director of IT & Tracability, “We are pleased to be involved and supporting Ayla Paul who has started a PhD studentship at Reading University sponsored by The British Honey Company and the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC) investigating the provenance and traceability of our British honey and that our honey has not been tampered with and contains no foreign, fake or contaminated honey.”
Honey is the third-most adulterated product in the world. According to testing by the EU, 20% of samples taken at EU’s external borders and at importers’ premises didn’t respect high EU standards. This could be for example because products have sugar syrup added or honey has been harvested too early and then artificially dried.
