The look, drinkability and value for money of five of our recently released spirits were singled out at the globally recognised 2021 London Spirits Competition with all of them receiving a silver medal.
The winning five spanned several of our brands and included:
Dodd’s Explorer’s Citrus & Spice Organic Gin
1606 Gin
1606 Vodka
English Heritage St Clement’s Gin
English Heritage Elderflower & Rose
Commercial Director, Oliver Williams, said: “We are thrilled to kick off our 2021 awards success with these five medals.
“The London Spirits Competition recognises brands that consumers really want to buy in that they are enjoyable, easy to drink, provide value for money and have an appealing design.
“The past year has been difficult in many ways as we adapted to the challenges thrown at us by the pandemic, so we are even more delighted to receive recognition for the new spirits that we released during this time.”
Inspired by England’s rich narrative, our English Heritage Elderflower & Rose Gin and St Clement’s Gin both have a nostalgic charm, evoking traditional flavours associated with this country’s history.
Dodd’s Explorer’s Citrus & Spice Organic Gin was released in December 2020. Made with our award-winning grain-based Dodd’s Gin, it is infused with coriander, cardamom, British honey, dried and fresh lemons and four rare Far Eastern peppercorn top notes of Cubeb Berry, Mondulkiri Red, Indonesian Long Red and Wild Forest peppers for a sublimely cleansing pepper finish.
Our 1606 range was also introduced at the end of 2020 for gin and vodka purists who are looking for high quality and flavoursome spirits at an affordable price.
It is the fourth year running that the British Honey Company has won awards at the London Spirits Competition where spirits are judged on their quality, value for money and what they look like.
