In celebration of International Gin & Tonic Day we have pulled together some of our most appealing G&T recipes so you can step out of your comfort zone and be experimental with your serves.

Serve 1: Two Birds Old Tom & Grapefruit G&T

Two Birds Old Tom & Grapefruit Gin and Tonic

For a slightly sweeter G&T, try using Old Tom Gin instead of a London dry. Add a light tonic and a garnish of grapefruit slices, pink peppercorns and fennel for a fabulously fresh flavour combination that balances out the sweetness of the gin. The grapefruit and peppercorns enliven the serve while the fennel complements the botanicals in the gin.

Serve 2: KEEPR’s Honey Gin & Rosemary G&T

Honey Gin and Tonic

The piney and robust herbaceous notes of rosemary are a perfect pairing for KEEPR’s Honey Gin. The savoury flavour of the herb cuts through the sweetness of the infusion of pure honey in this juniper forward gin as does the bitterness of the Indian tonic.

Serve 3: English Heritage Organic Dry Gin & Lemon G&T

English Heritage Organic Dry Gin and Tonic
The juniper and soft floral notes of English Heritage Organic Dry Gin are best enjoyed with a classic tonic and a slice of lemon to really experience the subtleties of its flavour. The lemon garnish enhances its refreshing citrus finish in this clean and smooth serve.

Serve 4: Dodd’s Organic Cinnamon and Nutmeg Spiced G&T

Dodd's gin with cinnamon and nutmeg garnish
There’s a tickle of earthy spice in Dodd’s Organic Gin which stands up well to the sweetness of cinnamon and nutmeg. These two spices give a lovely aromatic and wintry flavour to a G&T plus an extra kick to the gin, especially ones with a strong ABV like Dodd’s. Add an orange slice to finish off the seasonal taste.

Serve 5: 1606 G&T with Lime

1606 Gin and Tonic with lime

Sometimes the complexity of a tonic is all that’s needed to elevate the gin. The easy drinking nature of 1606 Gin with its lingering citrus notes beautifully complements the spicy sweetness of Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic. All that’s required to make this serve sing is a slice of fresh lime.
