Spiced Rum Daiquiri

The daiquiri is a Cuban classic. A simple, yet delicious cocktail, allegedly created by a party host that had run out of gin! Turned out, rum was a pretty good substitute and we think our Spiced Rum is even better

 Ingredients

Method

50ml Two Birds Spiced Rum

25ml Lime juice

15ml Sugar syrup

Lime peel to garnish

  • Chill a coupe glass using ice.
  • Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake and strain into your coupe.
  • Garnish with lime peel.

Sugar Syrup

In a small saucepan bring 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to boil and then simmer for 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Keep in the fridge in a glass jar for 7 days or freeze.
