Pomegranate Spritz

A beautifully refreshing sweet but not too sweet Two Birds Pink Grapefruit & Pomegranate Spritz

 Ingredients

Method

50ml Two Birds Pink Grapefruit & Pomegranate Gin

50ml Grapefruit juice
15ml Sugar syrup (see recipe below)

Soda water

Pomegranate seeds
  • In the bottom of a mixing glass, add pomegranate seeds, ice, 50ml Pink Grapefruit & Pomegranate Gin, 50ml grapefruit juice and 15ml sugar syrup. Stir for 30 seconds.
  • Strain contents into a wine glass over ice and top up with soda water.
  • Garnish with frozen pomegranate seeds.

Sugar Syrup

In a small saucepan bring 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to boil and then simmer for 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Keep in the fridge in a glass jar for 7 days or freeze.
