Mint Julep Cocktail

The trick to making a great Mint Julep is to only bruise or 'muddle' the mint so as not to release a bitter taste. Serve in a copper Julep cup for a sure-fire showstopper of a cocktail.

70ml Keepr's Smoked Honey Bourbon 10 Fresh Mint Leaves 20ml Sugar Syrup 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters Crushed Ice |

Sugar Syrup
In a small saucepan bring 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to boil and then simmer for 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Keep in the fridge in a glass jar for 7 days or freeze.
