Born in the 80s, the Espresso Martini has made a huge resurgence in recent times, and with its rich kick of caffeine, it's a decadent party serve.

 Ingredients

Method

50ml Two Birds Espresso

25ml Espresso shot

25ml Sugar syrup

Fresh coffee beans

  • Fill a Martini glass with ice and water and set aside to chill.
  • Into a mixing glass add ice, Two Birds Espresso, coffee shot and sugar syrup.
  • Cover and shake well for 30 seconds to a minute.
  • Discard the ice and water from your chilled glass and strain the drink into the glass.
  • Garnish with coffee beans.

Sugar Syrup

In a small saucepan bring 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to boil and then simmer for 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Keep in the fridge in a glass jar for 7 days or freeze.
