Dodd's Gimlet

Dodd's Gimlet

One of the easiest gin sours to make, the Gimlet Cocktail

 Ingredients

Method

75ml Dodd's Gin

25ml Lime Juice

25ml Simple Syrup (see recipe below)

Lime to garnish

 

  • Add gin, lime and simple syrup to a shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds.

  • Strain into a cocktail glass.

  • Garnish with a lime wheel twist.

Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan bring 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to boil and then simmer for 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Keep in the fridge in a glass jar for 7 days or freeze.
