Keepr's Dark and Stormy Cocktail

Our twist on Bermuda’s national cocktail – Keepr’s Dark 'n' Stormy takes the fire of ginger and balances it with the honey and spices of our rum

 Ingredients

Method

50ml Keepr's Honey Spiced Rum

25ml Lime Juice

5ml Ginger Syrup (see below)

Soda Water

Lime Wedge

  • Add lime juice, ginger syrup, rum and a small handful of crushed ice to a shaker and shake until you can no longer hear the ice

  • Crack open the shaker and add a dash of soda water

  • Pour into a hi-ball glass filled with ice and top with soda water if needed

  • Garnish with a lime wedge

Ginger Syrup

Chop up 100g of fresh ginger and add to a pan of 200ml of simmering water with 100g of sugar. Infuse for 20 minutes, cool completely and strain. Keep in a glass jar in the fridge for 7 days or freeze.
