Cherry-ish You Cocktail

Cherry, Almond and English Vodka Cocktail

Our Valentine's Day take on an Old Fashioned is incredibly easy to make and is the perfect way to impress your date.

 Ingredients

Method

50ml Two Birds Cherry & Almond Vodka

6 Dashes Angostura bitters

15ml Sugar syrup (see below)

Juice of half a lemon

Fresh cherry

Ice
  • In a rocks glass add large ice cube(s) and the vodka, Angostura bitters, sugar syrup and lemon juice.
  • Stir for 30 seconds then garnish with a fresh cherry.

Sugar Syrup

In a small saucepan bring 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to boil and then simmer for 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Keep in the fridge in a glass jar for 7 days or freeze.
