Bourbon Sour

A sharp but sweet bourbon cocktail with egg white for a touch of flair

 Ingredients

Method

2 measures of Keepr's Smoked Honey Bourbon

1 measure of fresh lemon juice

1 measure of sugar syrup (see below)

Egg white

Angostura Bitters amd lemon slice to garnish

 

  • Combine the bourbon, lemon juice, egg white and sugar syrup in a shaker with ice

  • Strain into a glass over ice

  • Garnish with bitter and a lemon slice.

Sugar Syrup

In a small saucepan bring 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water to boil and then simmer for 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Keep in the fridge in a glass jar for 7 days or freeze.
