Owen graduated with a degree in History. He initially started working for D2F, a local firm specialising in e-commerce, Fitness solutions and technology. What was intended as a stop-gap quickly became a career as he became embedded in the business and worked his way up to become Logistics Manager, gaining invaluable experience of numerous operational processes. During this time, he also worked on secondments, including the launch of the Nakd and Trek Bar range with Natural Balance Foods and co-managing the logistics operation for the London Olympic Games with The Retail People.
Whilst at D2F, Owen worked extensively on contract for The British Honey Company overseeing honey production and distribution. He was greatly enthused by products and the ethos of British Honey, seeing huge potential in a vibrant business, so was delighted to be given the opportunity to join them on a permanent basis as Operations Manager in 2018. His role includes overseeing the warehouse, bottling plant, laboratory, honey production facility and the day-to-day operations of the distillery. The growth of the company brings new challenges every day and ensures that there is never a dull moment for Owen and his team.
